Job Description
HPC Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, seeks a Class A/B CDL Driver/Operator to support industrial cleaning and environmental projects at refineries, chemical plants, and power facilities. You will safely operate vacuum trucks, tankers, and high-pressure cleaning units; transport materials; and assist field crews with setup, operation, and cleanup. This safety-first, team-oriented role includes extensive training, strict adherence to DOT and company procedures, and opportunities to grow into advanced operations and project support while protecting people, clients, and the environment. Responsibilities Safely operate Class A/B CDL trucks, vacuum units, and tankers to and from customer sites Perform industrial cleaning using high-pressure water blasting and related equipment Follow all DOT, company, and site-specific safety procedures and PPE requirements Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and basic truck/equipment maintenance checks Load, secure, transport, and offload materials and waste in compliance with regulations Assist field crews with hose/equipment setup, operation, and job-site housekeeping Accurately complete required logs, manifests, and job-related documentation Communicate with dispatch, supervisors, and customers in a professional manner Participate in safety meetings, drills, and ongoing training programs Work overtime, weekends, travel, and respond to emergency call-outs as required Required Skills Class A or B CDL with safe driving record Tanker and/or Hazmat endorsements (or ability to obtain) DOT hours-of-service and compliance knowledge Vacuum truck operation High-pressure water blasting / hydroblasting Basic mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting Safe material handling and load securement Reading and following JSA/permits and procedures Completion of logs, manifests, and basic paperwork Two-way radio and basic digital communication
