We are hiring entry-level Field Technicians to install temporary traffic-counting equipment and video cameras across the region. This is hands-on, active outdoor work—no offices, no cubicles. You will travel to project sites, safely set up and retrieve equipment in live-traffic environments, and help collect the critical roadway data that powers infrastructure engineering and government projects. What You'll Do
•
Accurate Data Collection & Deployment:
Safely set up, operate, and retrieve temporary video cameras, road tubes, and data counters to capture high-quality traffic metrics.
•
Site Studies & Documentation:
Conduct field studies, sketch intersections, record signal timing/phasing, and log observational data according to exact client specifications.
•
Safety & PPE Compliance:
Execute all operations with a safety-first mindset—applying defensive driving techniques, identifying potential hazards, and consistently wearing required PPE in live-traffic environments.
•
Timely Field Reporting:
Keep projects running smoothly by submitting three quick daily updates (schedule confirmation, equipment setup statuses, and equipment retrieval results) and promptly communicating any field disruptions.

Equipment & Vehicle Stewardship:
Maintain high-value technology and company vehicles through pre-deployment checks, organized tool management, and routine vehicle inspections. Schedule & Travel Requirements

Flexibility:
Schedules vary based on project needs. Candidates must have open availability for weekday, weekend, daytime, nighttime, or mixed shifts.

Travel:
Regular local and regional travel is required, including frequent overnight stays. What We're Looking For
•
Driver Requirements:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (Required).
•
Physical Capabilities:
Ability to work outdoors near live traffic in all weather conditions, with the capacity to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
•
Technical & Home Setup:
Basic computer literacy (uploading files, email attachments, Microsoft/Google environments) and high-speed home internet (minimum 20 Mbps upload speed).
•
Core Competencies:
Ability to follow SOPs, a strong sense of direction, clear written and verbal communication skills, and high attention to detail.
•
Screening:
Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
•
Job Experience:
No experience required—we provide full paid training! Backgrounds in low-voltage installation, cable/telecom, construction, video systems, traffic control, or military technical roles are a strong plus. What We Offer

A company vehicle is provided for all work-related travel. Use of a personal vehicle is generally not required; however, when necessary, mileage will be reimbursed in accordance with company policy.
