Under general direction, lead and support the ITS performing skilled work in the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of traffic signals and other Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) devices. DUTIES
- Installation, maintenance, replacement, programming, repair and troubleshooting of ITS equipment, including CCTV cameras, video detection, radar detection, loop detectors, dynamic message signs, connected vehicle RSU's, poles, etc. and associated cabinets, cabling, etc. Also to include communications equipment such as managed field ethernet switches, fiber, copper, etc.
- Field implementation of traffic control devices as needed (signs, cones, etc.)
- Includes driving / operation of a bucket truck for traffic signal and ITS maintenance duties
- Perform all job functions of ITS Technician and any other assignments as requested
- May require on-call on-site response for customer call outs, including nights and weekends
- May include travel within Florida and / or within the US
- Serves as a proactive customer service & quality ambassador of The Econolite Group, Inc. by representing the organization in a positive, professional manner to support The Brand Promise
- Performs other duties as required and assigned
