VETERANS PREFERENCE FLAGGER

We are seeking to fill a Flagger position for our local operations.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Able to direct and control traffic safely in and through work zone Direct site equipment when working in close proximity to traffic, hazards and obstructions Communicate with the public in a professional manner Protect workers by keeping workspace free of traffic and warning them of approaching hazards Being observant of surroundings at all times and communicating via two-way radio with co-workers to ensure the safe movement of traffic Follow safe practices and procedures Occasionally assist crew as needed Able to stand/walk for prolonged periods of time and be able to work outside in inclement weather

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Flagger certificate preferred but not required Minimum 1 year of experience preferred Able to workdays, nights, or weekends as needed Valid Florida driver's license Employer will conduct a drug testing, background check and Motor vehicle record check We offer competitive salaries and fringe benefits. Hour Vary Salary:

$15.00 - $18.00 per Hour DOE (Depends on Expericence)
