Provided for lead-level personnel Position Overview We are seeking an experienced IMSA Level II Technician / Foreman to support traffic signal and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) operations throughout the Atlanta market. This is a lead-level field position ideal for an experienced traffic signal professional who can perform advanced installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair while also providing leadership and direction to field technicians and crew members. Key Responsibilities Lead and support field crews performing traffic signal and ITS installation, maintenance, and repair. Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair traffic signals, controllers, sensors, communications equipment, and related ITS infrastructure. Diagnose electrical, hardware, software, and communications issues affecting traffic signal systems. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, plans, and technical manuals. Test and troubleshoot low-voltage electrical circuits using appropriate testing equipment. Configure and update traffic signal controllers and related communications/networking systems. Oversee safe and efficient completion of assigned field activities. Coordinate with technicians, underground crews, electricians, and other field personnel. Document repairs, maintenance activities, inspections, and completed work. Assist with training and development of less-experienced technicians as needed. Travel to project locations as required. Qualifications IMSA Level II certification required. Prior hands-on traffic signal and/or ITS experience required. Previous foreman, lead technician, or comparable field leadership experience strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of traffic signal controllers, sensors, low-voltage electrical systems, and related ITS equipment. Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to safely operate hand tools, testing equipment, and applicable field equipment. Strong communication and field leadership skills. CDL and/or crane operator qualifications are highly desirable and may be required depending on assigned responsibilities. Valid driver's license and ability to meet applicable company driving requirements. Travel & Work Environment Current travel is expected to be approximately 5% , with the potential for increased travel as company expands into additional markets. This is a hands-on field position requiring outdoor work around active transportation and construction infrastructure. A company vehicle will be provided for designated lead personnel. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is an experienced traffic signal professional who combines strong technical knowledge with the ability to lead field operations. Candidates should be comfortable troubleshooting complex traffic signal and ITS systems while providing guidance to technicians and ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
