Container Repair Technician Job Description The Container Repair Technician inspects, maintains, and repairs portable storage containers to ensure they meet strict safety and quality standards. This hands-on role is critical to delivering reliable service to customers and directly supports the efficiency and success of daily operations. The position follows a Monday through Friday schedule, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Responsibilities Inspect containers for structural damage, wear, and cleanliness to identify necessary repairs and maintenance. Perform repairs on containers, including painting, patching, and replacing damaged components to restore full functionality and appearance. Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs performed, and parts used to support tracking and reporting. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently while performing repair and maintenance tasks. Assist with loading and unloading containers as needed to support overall operations. Carry out general labor duties related to container maintenance and repair as required. Essential Skills Proficiency in using hand tools for inspection, maintenance, and repair tasks. Proficiency in using power tools safely and efficiently for container repairs. Ability to inspect containers for structural damage, wear, and cleanliness. Ability to perform repairs including painting, patching, and replacing damaged components. Capability to assist with loading and unloading containers. Ability to perform general labor tasks related to container repair and maintenance. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Comfort working outdoors and in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding labor. Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
