Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Road Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in equipment repair and maintenance, particularly with industrial machinery and automotive systems. This role requires a hands-on approach to diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of industrial equipment. Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify issues and implement effective solutions. Align and adjust equipment as necessary to ensure optimal performance. Execute brake repair tasks with precision and attention to safety protocols. Transmit detailed reports of repairs and maintenance performed to management. Assist in heavy lifting and moving of equipment during repair processes. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times. Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction. Experience Proven experience as a Road Service Technician or in a similar role within the automotive or industrial equipment sectors. Strong knowledge of equipment repair techniques, including but not limited to diesel engine repair, brake systems, and general diagnostics. Familiarity with safety regulations related to heavy machinery operation. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and management.
