Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain traffic control plans in accordance with safety regulations and project requirements
• Direct traffic and ensure the safe and efficient flow of vehicles through construction zones
• Set up and remove traffic control devices such as cones, signs, and barricades
• Communicate with construction crews and drivers to provide instructions and guidance
• Monitor traffic conditions and adjust traffic control measures as needed
• Maintain a safe work area for both workers and drivers
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures

Experience:

• 2-5 years previous experience as a Traffic Control Technician or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of traffic control devices and their proper usage
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and traffic control plans
• Certification in traffic control or related field is a plus
• Experience in utility locating is a plus
• 5 years driving history
• Clean driving record
