•Priority given to candidates with dispatching experience.•The Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport Authority (CMAA) is seeking to fill the position of full-time Airport Dispatcher. The primary responsibility of an Airport Dispatcher is the daily operation of the Chattanooga Airport Communications Center. This position primarily monitors safety and security around the airport and shares information with all operating groups.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Work requires professional verbal communication skills, as well as effective interpersonal skills. Exceptional customer service skills a must. Requires strong computer skills and must be able to learn computerized access control systems. This position requires self-direction and ability to perform with little or no supervision. Must have the ability to prioritize projects and activities. Individual must be adaptive and proactive to quickly and efficiently evaluate situations and react accordingly. The ability to make quick, yet sound decisions is imperative. Must be able to learn CMAA policies and procedures and adapt to changing rules and regulations. The selected candidate must be able to successfully pass a Security Threat Assessment and background check.
