Job Description

Job Summary The Food Club Coordinator, Mobile Market is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a Mobile Market program that expands healthy food access throughout the community. This role delivers an exceptional customer experience while coordinating inventory management, merchandising, route scheduling, driving, delivery operations, and volunteer engagement. When not operating the Mobile Market, the Coordinator supports Food Club operations, guest services, and volunteer leadership. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, comfortable driving a 14-foot box truck, and passionate about serving the community. Spanish proficiency is required to effectively communicate and build relationships with guests at Mobile Market stops. Responsibilities Mobile Market Operations Execute daily Mobile Market operations. Schedule monthly routes with established community partners. Drive a 14-foot insulated box truck safely and responsibly. Load, transport, set up, stock, merchandise, tear down, and unload Mobile Market inventory. Manage Point-of-Sale (POS) transactions and business technology systems. Ensure safe transportation, handling, and storage of food products. Track program outcomes, metrics, and operational data. Collaborate with internal teams to maintain inventory levels and promotional materials. Guest Services & Team Support Deliver outstanding customer service while demonstrating organizational values. Communicate effectively with guests, volunteers, staff, and community partners in English and basic conversational Spanish. Lead and work alongside volunteers at Mobile Market stops and Food Club locations. Assist with Food Club operations, including checkout, stocking, receiving deliveries, and volunteer coordination. Independently execute opening and closing procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum 1 year of relevant experience. Valid driver's license in good standing. Spanish proficiency. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Experience in community services or programs serving low-income populations. Experience with inventory management or POS systems. Familiarity with Google Workspace. Chauffeur's License (or ability to obtain). ServSafe Certification (or willingness to obtain). Physical Requirements This position regularly requires: Standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching. Operating pallet jacks and a box truck. Lifting up to 20 pounds continuously and up to 50 pounds frequently. Working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Frequent driving for work-related duties.
