Full Job Description Position Summary:
Christie Place Condominiums is seeking an experienced, hands-on Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our front desk and building support staff. This position is responsible for leading the concierge team and custodial staff while ensuring exceptional service, security, and responsiveness for our residents. The ideal candidate is an organized, approachable leader with excellent communication skills, strong customer service instincts, and the ability to manage people, solve problems, and maintain a first-class residential environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise, coach, and support concierge and custodial staff to ensure outstanding service and professionalism.
  • Prepare weekly employee schedules and submit accurate payroll information to property management.
  • Train, mentor, and onboard new employees while ensuring compliance with building policies and procedures.
  • Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.
  • Address employee questions and operational issues, escalating significant matters to property management when appropriate.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day staff supervision and operational concerns.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to resident inquiries, requests, and service issues.
  • Maintain all front desk records and logs, including vendor approvals, parking assignments, and other operational documentation.
  • Coordinate contractor and vendor access to the building, ensuring insurance certificates and required documentation are current before entry.
  • Work closely with property management regarding vendor scheduling, building projects, and resident communications.
  • Monitor front desk equipment, security systems, cameras, and office supplies.
  • Immediately report any building, safety, maintenance, personnel, or resident concerns to property management.
  • Help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all residents, guests, and staff.
Qualifications:
  • Supervisory or management experience preferred, preferably in residential property management, hospitality, or customer service.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Professional demeanor with strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office and email.
  • Knowledge of residential building operations is preferred.
  • Flexible schedule.
