This position could also be part time or seasonal (March-Oct) for the correct candidate. However, if full time year round employment is needed, that is available for this position. We are seeking additional staff in our marine service department to perform an array of duties including moving boats around the lot with tractor-forklift, transporting boats on trailer to other facilities and/or to customer home or lake. Also assist detailing staff in keeping boats and facility clean, boat bottom cleaning & painting, minor assembly work on trailers and other boat items. Many of our service staff starts out in this role and grow and get promoted to other positions including rigging, service tech, and other roles. This position is rarely repetitive, and you are doing something different all of the time and learning new skills. Experience with forklifts and/or tractors is a huge plus. Must have experience towing trailers of some kind with backup skills and launching boats. Being able to launch and run a boat at a boat ramp is a big plus but not 100% required. For the right candidate, where it makes sense this can be a seasonal position with part time or full time hours (March through October).
