Job Description

Overview The Outside Services Attendant provides outstanding customer service to members and guests while supporting golf operations through bag handling, cart preparation, range operations, and maintaining clean, organized work areas. The role is responsible for staging and storing golf carts, ensuring they are clean, functional, and ready for use, while also providing golf-related services that create a seamless and enjoyable experience for golfers. Experience Required Preferred high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Prior experience in a similar role or strong knowledge of golf. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with members, guests, and staff. Strong knowledge of golf etiquette, rules, and best practices. Positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding service. High attention to detail and reliability. Ability to work primarily outdoors with frequent exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures and humidity. Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb ladders, squat, kneel, reach, grasp, push, pull, twist, bend, talk, hear, and see. Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs. Adherence to attendance requirements as outlined in the weekly schedule. Flexibility to work additional hours as needed to meet position deadlines. Availability to work weekends and/or holidays as required. Essential Responsibilities Assist golfers by loading and unloading bags, preparing them for play, answering questions, offering golf course etiquette suggestions, and providing post-round support including cleaning clubs and delivering them to cars as needed. Promote club events, course conditions, and relevant information to enhance the member and guest experience. Marshal carts in the staging area, assign them to players, track usage, and ensure carts are cleaned, maintained, and inspected for damage. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cart barn, storage areas, practice facilities, parking lot, and pro shop entrance. Set up and manage practice areas, ensuring they are stocked with equipment such as range balls and prepared for daily use. Collaborate with golf operations staff including range attendants, marshals, and starters to ensure efficient service. Complete daily assignments in designated areas while meeting club standards and keeping the Golf Shop organized and stocked. Assist others as needed and take on additional tasks assigned by management. Follow company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions. Maintain professionalism and commitment to excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff. Follow safe working practices and comply with safety guidelines. Take initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain any required certifications relevant to the role. Address and resolve challenges using available resources and support club operations with regional and corporate teams. Attend daily briefings and engage in required activities to stay informed and contribute to team success.
