m. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and available for the entire training session of 2.5hrs and 11 hour event-day shift. All training and event hours are paid at $20 per hour. Employees should plan to work the full scheduled shift. In the unlikely event operations require additional coverage, employees may be asked, but not required, to stay later and will be paid for all time worked. Wasatch Parking may release an employee early for safety, conduct, attendance, or performance concerns. About the Position Wasatch Parking is hiring friendly, dependable event staff to support parking operations for the Wings & Wheels Airshow at Spanish Fork Airport. Team members may work as parking attendants, space-finders, guest-service attendants, or card-payment cashiers. Applicants may request a preferred role when submitting their resume. We will consider preferences, but final assignments will be based on event needs. This is an active outdoor position supporting a busy event with moving vehicles and pedestrians. Previous experience is helpful but not required, we provide paid training, clear instructions, and on-site supervision and experienced team members to work alongside. Parking Attendant Responsibilities Direct arriving vehicles toward available parking areas and stalls. Guide vehicles into marked and unmarked spaces within paved, dirt, gravel, and grass parking areas. Use predefined cone layouts and follow manager or supervisor direction. Identify available spaces and guide arriving guests to them throughout the day. Provide guests with basic event information, directions, and friendly assistance. Communicate changing parking conditions to supervisors. Remain alert and work safely around moving vehicles and pedestrians. All traffic direction will take place strictly inside designated parking lots. Employees will not direct traffic on public streets and will never be required or permitted to drive a guest's vehicle. Card-Payment Cashier Responsibilities Process card-only parking payments using a company-provided handheld device and parking application. Assist guests with payment questions and entry information. Maintain a friendly and efficient experience during busy arrival periods. Communicate payment, technology, or traffic concerns to on-site leadership. No cash handling is required. Qualifications and Physical Requirements Must be at least 18 years old. Friendly, professional, and customer-service oriented. Dependable, punctual, and available for both required dates. Able to remain calm and attentive in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working near moving vehicles and pedestrians in parking areas. Able to stand and walk outdoors for extended periods, including on dirt, gravel, grass, and uneven surfaces. Able to repeatedly use hand and arm motions to direct vehicles. Able to lift and carry traffic cones weighing up to 30 pounds. Able to work outdoors in changing weather conditions. Comfortable using a handheld mobile device for cashier assignments. Able to follow supervisor instructions and established safety procedures. Previous parking, traffic-direction, event, outdoor cashier, or customer-service experience is a plus but is not required. The work is straightforward, and we will train you! What We Provide Mandatory paid training. High-visibility PPE and rain gear. Drinks and snacks. Employee lunch. Free airshow access during scheduled breaks when operational coverage allows. On-site managers and supervisors for support and direction. Seasonal Event Employment This is a one-time event assignment as a seasonal, part-time W-2 employee. Employment includes the mandatory training on September 24 and the airshow shift on September 26. Successful team members may be added to Wasatch Parking's event-staff contact list and offered opportunities to work future events. No employment or hours are guaranteed beyond this assignment.
