Job Description
Safford Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM of Warrenton is looking for a dependable, hardworking Automotive Lot Porter to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working around vehicles and wants to begin or grow a career in the automotive industry. As a Lot Porter, you'll play an important role in keeping our dealership running smoothly by maintaining vehicle inventory, preparing vehicles for delivery, assisting customers, and supporting both our Sales and Service Departments. What We Offer Competitive hourly pay with opportunities for advancement Medical, dental, vision, life insurance and 401(k) with company match Paid vacation and personal time Employee vehicle purchase program Paid training Stable, family-oriented dealership Opportunities for career growth within the company Responsibilities Move, organize, and maintain dealership inventory Prepare vehicles for customer deliveries Fuel vehicles and check presentation before delivery Install license plates and temporary tags Assist customers during vehicle deliveries Keep the sales lot clean, organized, and professional in appearance Assist with dealer trades and vehicle transfers as needed Shuttle vehicles between departments Remove snow, debris, and maintain sidewalks and customer areas when necessary Support the Sales and Service Departments with daily operations Follow all dealership safety procedures Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the day Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work independently and as part of a team Automotive dealership experience is a plus but not required—we will train the right person.
