Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team. This position is for an afternoon school age teacher and potentially a van driver. This position starts out as part time due to school being in session with potential for more hours when school is out of session. Responsibilities Implement effective classroom management techniques Provide first aid as needed and ensure the health and safety of all children in your care. Support children with special needs by utilizing appropriate strategies and resources. Engage in teaching activities that promote learning and development across various subjects. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive development. Maintain open communication with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns. Assist in behavior management strategies to help children develop self-regulation skills. Collaborate with other staff members to create an inclusive environment for all students Experience Proven experience working with children in settings such as daycare, camps, or educational environments is essential. Background in early childhood education or childhood development is highly desirable. Previous experience in babysitting or childcare roles will be considered an asset.
