Per diem, as needed Summary Drives transportation van or other type of vehicle to transport Glenmeadow residents by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operates company vehicles safely and efficiently according to assigned schedules and destinations. Assists residents and passengers safely into and out of vehicles as needed. Ensures all passengers are properly secured before departure and verifies that wheelchairs and other mobility devices are securely fastened when required. Transports residents safely while following all applicable safety procedures and regulations. Complies with all local, state, and federal traffic laws and regulations while operating company vehicles. Performs business errands and other transportation-related tasks as assigned. Communicates with the concierge regarding delays, schedule changes, service disruptions, or other transportation concerns. Maintains vehicles in a clean and orderly condition and refuels vehicles as needed. Accurately maintains required trip and transportation logs. Provides support to Concierge Desk staff and assists with other Hospitality Department duties as needed. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong communication skills and the ability to stay organized. Ability to work collaboratively and professionally in a team setting. Demonstrate sound judgment in navigating difficult situations. Consistent exceptional customer service. Experience and Education High School Diploma or GED. Valid state issued driver's license is required. Good driving record with no speeding or other moving violations, including DWI. Driver must be 21 years or older.
