Job Description

Substitute Van Route Driver - Princeton Mille Lacs County Area DAC, Inc. is looking for Substitute Van Route Drivers to join our Princeton team! This is a flexible, part-time substitute position that helps support our permanent route drivers when they are off, on scheduled vacation, or unavailable due to illness. It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys driving, working with people, and making a meaningful difference in the community. Schedule Routes run Monday-Friday , with split shifts:
Morning:
6:30 AM - 9:00
AM Afternoon:
2:30 PM - 5:30 PM Substitute drivers are scheduled based on the needs of the agency and driver availability. Responsibilities Safely transport persons served to and from the center Assist with loading, securing, and managing wheelchairs and other adaptive equipment Maintain accurate vehicle and route records Complete required vehicle safety checks Follow all Minnesota traffic laws and agency transportation procedures Provide a safe, respectful, and welcoming transportation experience Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to successfully pass a background check Ability to safely assist with wheelchairs and adaptive equipment Dependable and responsible Comfortable working with and supporting people with disabilities Ability to follow safety procedures and agency guidelines Why Work With Us?
