In this energetic role, you will be the friendly face that ensures guests arrive safely and comfortably from hotel to airport or vice versa. Duties Safely operate shuttle vehicles adhering strictly to traffic regulations and safety standards. Transport guests between hotel and airport. Assist guests with luggage handling and provide courteous, informative customer service throughout each journey. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform basic maintenance checks, and ensure the shuttle is clean and well-maintained at all times. Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption; report any vehicle issues promptly for repairs or servicing. Communicate effectively with guests and team members to coordinate pick-ups and drop offs. Follow all state transportation regulations and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for passengers and staff. Periodically walk hotel premises and exteriors luggage cart retrieval and for discarded trash and linen. Maintaining public areas neat and clean. Complete daily checklist when no shuttle rides are required. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, shuttle driver, or in a similar passenger transportation role. Valid driver's license appropriate for operating passenger vehicles; commercial driving license (CDL) preferred but not required. Experience with manual handling of luggage or cargo is advantageous. Knowledge of traffic laws, safety standards, and state transportation regulations applicable to passenger vehicles. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage courteously with diverse guests and team members. Ability to perform light heavy lifting when assisting passengers with luggage or supplies. Strong attention to detail in vehicle maintenance checks and safety procedures. Previous experience in medical transportation, chauffeur driving, paratransit services, or school bus driving is a plus.
