Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our transportation team. In this vital role, you will operate various types of vehicles, including dumpster truck, heavy duty hauler, 4 car carrier. Duties Safely operate commercial vehicles including school buses, transit dumpster truck, heavy duty hauler, 4 car carrier vehicles in compliance with all state and local driving laws. Transport vehicles and items efficiently while maintaining punctual schedules and adhering to route plans. Following transportation safety regulations, conducting pre-trip inspections, and responding promptly to traffic changes or emergencies. Provide excellent customer service by managing behavior effectively, and addressing any concerns professionally. Follow emergency response procedures for transportation incidents. Maintain accurate records of trips, vehicle inspections, incident reports, and passenger logs in writing or digital systems. Experience Proven experience in commercial driving roles. Knowledge of traffic laws, vehicle codes, and transportation safety regulations relevant to dumpster truck, heavy duty hauler, 4 car carrier driving and transit operations. Ability to respond quickly to traffic changes or unexpected situations with sound judgment and calmness. Familiarity with emergency response procedures for transportation incidents. Multilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse communities effectively.
