Job Summary Fairfield Inn & Suites Canton is looking for a reliable and customer-focused Van Driver to provide safe and courteous transportation for hotel guests. The Van Driver will operate the hotel shuttle, assist guests with loading and unloading luggage, maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle, and provide an excellent guest experience. The ideal candidate is dependable, punctual, professional, and comfortable working independently while interacting with guests from a variety of backgrounds. Available Shifts Driver 1: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM (Midnight) Driver 2: 4:00 AM - 8:00 AM Key Responsibilities Safely operate the hotel shuttle van to transport guests to and from the airport and nearby destinations as assigned. Provide courteous, professional, and friendly service to all guests. Assist guests with luggage and other belongings when necessary. Follow all traffic laws, hotel transportation procedures, and safety requirements. Conduct basic vehicle safety checks before and during shifts. Report any vehicle maintenance issues or safety concerns to management promptly. Keep the hotel van clean, organized, and presentable at all times. Maintain accurate transportation logs as required. Monitor shuttle schedules and communicate with the front desk regarding guest transportation requests. Assist guests with directions and general information about the hotel and surrounding area. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing the hotel. Follow all hotel policies and procedures. Perform other reasonable duties assigned by hotel management. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Previous shuttle, hotel, transportation, or customer service experience preferred. Must be dependable and punctual. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage scheduled shuttle runs. Ability to assist guests with luggage. Must be comfortable working early morning or late evening/night shifts depending on the position. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test . Must agree to and successfully complete a background check . Must meet all applicable requirements for operating the hotel shuttle vehicle. Monthly Attendance Bonus This position is eligible for a monthly attendance bonus for employees who meet the company's attendance and punctuality requirements. Additional eligibility requirements may apply. Physical Requirements Ability to sit and drive for extended periods. Ability to assist with loading and unloading guest luggage. Ability to lift and move luggage and other items as needed. Ability to work in varying weather conditions. Ability to enter and exit the shuttle vehicle regularly.
