Duties Safely operate shuttle buses and passenger vans along designated local routes within Clackamas, ensuring timely arrivals and departures. Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing friendly and professional customer service at all times. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper functioning of all equipment. Follow all traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and company policies to maintain compliance and safety standards. Communicate effectively with clients and team members using GPS navigation systems and two-way radios to coordinate routes and address any issues promptly. Perform light maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and reporting any mechanical concerns to maintenance teams. Handle heavy lifting when necessary for loading or unloading equipment or luggage while adhering to proper manual handling procedures. Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver, shuttle driver, or in a similar passenger vehicle operation role. Strong knowledge of GPS navigation tools and local driving routes within Clackamas or surrounding areas. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with bus driving, limousine service, or chauffeur driving is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with passengers and clients. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading or unloading tasks. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance routines and basic troubleshooting techniques. Knowledge of state transportation regulations, commercial driving standards, and safety protocols related to passenger vehicles such as paratransit or school bus driving.
