Job Description

Job Summary Join our team as a Shuttle Driver, providing safe, reliable, and friendly transportation services for our guests within the Rhinelander area. As a representative of Cobblestone Hotel & Suites, you will operate our passenger vehicle to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs across local routes. Your dedication to excellent customer service and adherence to traffic regulations will help create a positive experience for all riders. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving skills while contributing to a welcoming hospitality environment. Responsibilities Scheduled transfers usually last an hour for airport runs and some may be afternoon evening shuttles to specific venues. Hours will vary from early morning to evening schedules. This is a perfect position for someone who wants limited hours and to be part of a team. The individual must safely operate the shuttle van ensuring timely arrivals and departures. Assist passengers with boarding and exiting vehicles, providing friendly and professional customer service at all times. Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of vehicles, including routine inspections and reporting any mechanical issues promptly. Navigate using GPS systems to follow optimized routes while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with guests and team members, providing information about schedules, routes, or delays as needed. Handle heavy lifting when assisting passengers with luggage or mobility aids in compliance with safety standards. Follow all state transportation regulations and company policies to ensure safe operation of passenger vehicles. Requirements Valid driver's license required with a clean driving record. Experience operating passenger vans, limousines, or medical transportation vehicles preferred, but will train. Knowledge of GPS navigation systems and local driving routes. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members. Familiarity with traffic laws, safety protocols, and state transportation regulations governing commercial driving. Strong customer service orientation with a positive attitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
