JOB SUMMARY

To safely provide transportation for St Croix Chippewa enrolled Tribal Members who need a ride to and from the St Croix Casino - Turtle Lake for work.

QUALIFICATIONS

Native American preference. Must be 21 years of age. Must have a valid Wisconsin driver's license and able to meet our insurance criteria. Must have two (2) years of driving experience. Must be dependable and able to work independently without supervision. Must be courteous and well groomed. Must have the ability to be a team player and able to comply with orders given by management.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

Must be alert and professional at all times. Must have the ability to work efficiently in an intense, fast-paced environment. Must be capable and confident to drive in changing weather conditions and handle any change in routine according to varying situations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Provide transportation promptly and on a time-scheduled route throughout the shift. Must be a safe, responsible courteous driver at all times. Must maintain a good driving record. Responsible for inspecting the vehicle and completing a Pre-Trip Inspection form and submitting work orders to the mechanics for any problem or repair. Must operate cellphone or similar device to communicate with the base station for any changes in the schedule route. Responsible for keeping the transporting vehicle clean at all times. Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the position, adhere to and enforce all departmental and company policies, and attend all mandatory trainings. Must comply with and enforce all safety policies and rules. St. Croix Chippewa Enterprises reserve the right to make changes to this job description whenever necessary.
