Bucket Truck Operator/Climber

Spicer Tree Specialists is seeking an experienced bucket operator and tree climber to join its crew. Experience operating a bucket truck and climbing is required. A CDL is not required. Municipal plowing through the winter is part of this position, and experience plowing is preferred but training will be provided for the right candidate. This position's duties are primarily tree service related: Removing and pruning trees, grinding stumps, operating heavy equipment such as tractors and grapple trucks, and assisting the grounds crew with cleanup as needed. Primarily in the winter months, this position will be expected to assist with maintenance on the fleet as needed. This is a full-time permanent position. This position pays $22-$30 an hour, based on experience and credentials such as a pesticide applicator license. Spicer Tree Specialists is a complete tree service that has been serving Central and Midcoast Maine for 25 years.
