Duties Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to help them select products that meet their needs Educate customers on product effects, usage methods, and safety guidelines through engaging product demos and clear communication Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure products are stocked, labeled correctly, and appealingly presented Upsell relevant products by identifying customer preferences and recommending additional items to enhance their experience Conduct regular stock checks, inventory management, and assist with restocking shelves to ensure product availability Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or follow-up calls from customers or vendors Supervise junior staff or trainees when needed, providing guidance on customer service standards and product knowledge Requirements Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in a grocery store or similar environment with customer interaction Supervising experience is a plus; ability to lead by example and support team members effectively Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse clientele Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management practices Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves and standing for extended periods Demonstrated phone etiquette and clear verbal communication skills Experience conducting product demos or upselling is advantageous Embark on a rewarding career where your enthusiasm makes a difference! $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
