Job Summary As a Budtender, you will be the friendly, knowledgeable face of our dispensary, guiding customers through their cannabis journey with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your role is to provide exceptional customer service by offering expert product recommendations, educating clients on various strains and consumption methods, and ensuring a welcoming environment. You will handle sales transactions accurately, manage inventory, and promote responsible use while adhering to all legal regulations. Your energy and passion for the industry will help create a positive experience that keeps customers coming back. Duties Assist customers in selecting products by providing detailed descriptions, product demos, and personalized recommendations based on their needs and preferences Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process sales, handle cash handling and cashiering duties with accuracy Conduct product merchandising and stocking to ensure displays are attractive, organized, and compliant with regulations Educate customers on product effects, usage methods, and responsible consumption practices Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock, placing orders, and conducting regular stock checks Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or scheduling appointments Upsell products by highlighting new arrivals, promotions, or complementary items to enhance customer experience Skills Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse customers effectively Previous retail sales experience with supervising or leadership responsibilities preferred Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a broader customer base Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for transactions and inventory management Experience in merchandising, stocking, and maintaining retail displays Knowledge of grocery store operations or similar retail environments is advantageous Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude Ability to conduct product demos confidently while adhering to legal guidelines for cannabis products Strong phone etiquette for professional communication in a fast-paced setting Join us as a Budtender and be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering top-tier service while promoting responsible use.
