Advertising/Posting Title Building Controls Engineer
Posting Summary Perform a variety of highly technical facility system diagnostics. Plan, conduct, or oversee mechanical repairs and maintenance with outside contractors or in house staff. Provide general oversight of building systems within designated zone with regard to operation, expansion, maintenance and repair, utilizing comprehensive knowledge of Honeywell and Johnson Building Controls Management Systems. Access information using software applications. Operate a University vehicle. Promote a safe work environment in the shop and in the field. Actively engage in learning and practicing principles of social justice and inclusion, environmental sustainability and delivering great customer experience.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience) High School Diploma and three years of specific trade and operation exposure to HVAC equipment and controls, maintenance and repair required. Experience with project coordination and ability to read and interpret engineering plans and specifications. Knowledge of computer programming/operation relating to Honeywell and Johnson Controls Building Automation Systems. Knowledge of information technologies and system administration of building automation systems. Valid driver's license, and driver's check required. Specific physical requirements may apply based on job functions. Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing specific job tasks. Initial employment contingent upon successful completion of background check.

Anticipated Pay Range $37.50-$42.00/hour
