Responsibilities Safely operate different types of buses such as school buses, motor coaches, shuttle vehicles, and paratransit vans according to scheduled routes and passenger needs Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and proper maintenance standards are met Provide exceptional customer service by greeting passengers warmly, assisting with boarding and alighting, and addressing any questions or concerns professionally Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe transportation at all times Maintain accurate logs of trips, passenger counts, and any incidents or maintenance issues during shifts Communicate effectively with dispatchers, passengers, and team members using clear language and proper radio procedures Perform routine maintenance checks and report mechanical or safety concerns promptly to ensure vehicle reliability Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for bus operation Proven experience in bus driving, shuttle driving, or delivery driver roles with a focus on safety and customer service Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems to assist with basic troubleshooting and maintenance awareness Experience operating motor coaches, school buses, paratransit vehicles or limousine services is highly desirable Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with passengers and team members Knowledge of traffic laws related to bus driving and safety regulations applicable in your area Ability to perform physical tasks such as assisting passengers with mobility aids or loading/unloading luggage when necessary Join us to make a difference every day by providing dependable transportation that keeps our community connected!
