Drivers work routes for two in-district public schools, and provide transportation for district children going to private schools, to Special Education placements and for district field trips and athletic events on an as-needed basis. Training is available for qualified candidates.

UEV Contract Hours:

Hours may vary; Generally from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. September - June. Job Qualifications High school graduate or possession of GED. A Class B license with passenger and school bus endorsements is preferred. Drivers with a CDL Class B permit will be trained. Neat appearance. There will be a background check, drug testing and fingerprinting (as required by law). Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position. Must be reliable and able to work on school attendance days. The supervisor will conduct a formal review of performance approximately six months after commencement of employment in this position.
