Job Description
About VSSi VSSi is a growing AV and low-voltage integration company serving the DMV area. We work directly with general contractors, corporate clients, and government entities, delivering reliable, high-quality systems from design through installation and commissioning. We are a fast-moving company with strong field execution, and we are building our growth around long-term relationships, accountability, and consistent delivery on active construction projects. Position Overview We are looking for a highly self-driven Business Development / Account Manager who understands how to build pipeline, develop relationships, and close deals without being micromanaged. This is not an entry-level sales role. We are looking for someone who already knows how to operate in a B2B or construction-related environment and can take ownership of results from day one. You will play a direct role in growing the company by establishing and expanding relationships with general contractors, corporate clients, and government organizations. Key Responsibilities Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the DMV area Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, corporate clients, and government agencies Generate leads through outreach, networking, and industry connections Own the sales process from first contact through deal closing Work with internal team to define scope and support proposal development Maintain a clear and active pipeline of opportunities Represent VSSi professionally in meetings, site visits, and industry settings What We're Looking For Proven ability to generate business and close deals 5 Yrs Experience in AV / low voltage / construction, B2B sales, or government/commercial contracting Strong relationship-building skills with decision-makers Ability to work independently and manage priorities without supervision Clear understanding of how to build and manage a sales pipeline Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growing company

We are not looking for someone who needs daily direction or training on how to sell. We are looking for someone who already understands what it takes to produce results and can execute consistently. What Success Looks Like Consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities Strong relationships with GCs, clients, and partners Ability to close deals and contribute to revenue growth Bringing structure, visibility, and accountability to the sales process Compensation Base salary: $48,000Commission:
