Business Development Manager Houston, TX Apply for this job Position Overview This opportunity is designed for a commercially driven professional who brings both technical understanding and strategic business development capability within The Oil & Gas infrastructure markets in the Water Midstream sector. The role focuses on identifying, developing, and expanding client relationships by delivering engineered solutions that address complex operational challenges to operators and engineers. The individual will play a central role in driving regional growth by aligning customer needs with practical, high-value solutions. Professional Responsibility and Scope The individual in this role will take ownership of the full lifecycle of business development activities across a defined market segment. This includes identifying new opportunities, developing tailored engagement strategies, and guiding prospects through the evaluation and decision-making process. Success in this role requires building a consistent pipeline of opportunities, converting those opportunities into long-term client relationships, and expanding existing accounts into repeat business. The position requires close coordination with internal technical and commercial teams to ensure solutions are aligned with client objectives and delivered effectively. The individual will remain actively engaged in understanding industry dynamics, monitoring emerging trends, and participating in relevant professional forums. Regular communication of market insights, forecasts, and performance metrics to leadership is expected. Location and Lifestyle Context This role is structured to support a regional territory within a key industrial market, offering a high degree of autonomy in managing client engagement and travel. The position provides flexibility in daily scheduling while maintaining strong connectivity with internal teams and customers. In-depth knowledge of the DJ Basin (Colorado), Permian Basin (New Mexico & Texas), and Powder River Basin (Montana & Wyoming) Long Term Professional Growth This opportunity provides a platform to expand both commercial leadership and technical expertise within infrastructure and industrial systems. Compensation Total compensation includes a base salary ranging from $110,000 to $175,000 , adjusted based on experience and performance, along with incentive opportunities tied to revenue growth and business development success.
