Job Description
Internship Hours:
40 hours per week + additional hours as necessaryRole Responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of business intelligence reporting, including maintaining dashboards and tracking key performance indicators across business units.
- Assist with data collection, cleaning, and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency across reporting systems.
- Build and maintain dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms to support organizational decision-making.
- Analyze data related to ticket sales, fan engagement, marketing campaigns, sponsorship performance, and operational metrics.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate business needs into data-driven insights.
- Assist with preparing weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports for leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within datasets and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
- Support data workflows and documentation, including data definitions, report specifications, and process improvements.
- Conduct research and benchmarking on industry trends, fan behavior, and sports business analytics.
- Perform other duties as assigned. Key Skills/Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis techniques).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
- Basic knowledge of SQL; experience with Python or R is a plus
- Basic knowledge of artificial intelligence tools, including Claude Code
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to present data clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to handle confidential and proprietary data with professionalism.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and internal drive to contribute to a high-performing team culture.
