Job Description

Engineering Lifecycle Manager (Tmep-Perm) As a Lifecycle Manager (C), you will facilitate the planning, execution, and implementation of changes driven by rapid design iteration of our early-stage products in our development plant. Your responsibilities start once a change idea is approved in the Change Review Board (CRB) and end once a change is fully implemented in Operations. You will follow the existing change management process and standard work, understanding that judgement and decision making is required, as process and standard work fully defined or tailored to your specific changes. In this role, you will work closely with the Change Management Lead and Operations Program Managers (OPMs). You will know what good looks like for both Engineering and Manufacturing Operations, allowing you to balance rigor with speed. To thrive in this role, you must have experience in and be excited by fast-paced New Product Introduction environments and be highly motivated to drive changes and quality at all costs. Day-to-Day Activities:
  • Manage the change implementation process by developing and driving individual mini-projects for each product change, and running the Change Implementation Board (CIB).
  • Collaborate with hardware and software engineering, manufacturing, test, supply chain, and quality assurance teams to ensure alignment and effective change implementation. Hold teams accountable to schedule and expedite/escalate when needed.
  • Manage preparation and execution of Qualification Builds for product changes that require them.
  • Understand the current design and goals for the change and possible dependencies to other changes.
  • Support estimating cost impacts in direct material, capital improvements, and labor for each change.
  • Strategically and proactively identify potential risks and blockers and develop plans to mitigate those risks.
  • Effectively report changes to timelines, resource allocation, and expectations to all stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in Arena or similar PLM
  • Experience with cross-program Change Management analytics
  • Experience in Manufacturing and Engineering teams
Pay:
$50.00 - $60.00 per hour
