Job Description
Responsibilities Project and Team Leadership:
Drive program direction with autonomy, establishing clear structure, ownership, and decision‑making to keep teams aligned and moving. Build strong, trust‑based relationships with leaders and stakeholders, influencing with confidence and resolving issues quickly. Create and manage actionable project plans, timelines, and dependencies with a hands‑on execution mindset. Navigate ambiguity by synthesizing information into clear, practical steps and driving forward momentum across people, processes, and technology. Apply Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies to optimize delivery, using good judgment to adapt based on context. Provide concise, transparent updates on progress, risks, and changes; ensure financial visibility and disciplined cost management. Define and track KPIs to measure initiative performance and impact. Set roles and expectations for team members, fostering accountability, psychological safety, and continuous improvement. Use performance metrics to ensure team efficiency aligns with priority outcomes.Change Management:
Lead all aspects of change management, including leadership enablement, training, communication, and readiness. Develop and execute change strategies garner positive employee sentiment, deliver desired outcomes and build sustained organizational commitment. Act as an active driver of adoption, not just an enabler—quickly identifying gaps and taking decisive action to remove barriers. Gather feedback, diagnose issues, and adjust plans to maintain forward momentum and support desired behavior shifts.Risk and Issue Management:
Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks to protect timelines and outcomes. Implement disciplined processes to track, escalate, and resolve issues quickly and effectively. Develop contingency plans that ensure continuity and minimize disruption. Escalate with confidence when leadership intervention is required.Evaluation and Project Transition:
Conduct post‑project evaluations to measure impact, identify improvements, and strengthen future execution. Document lessons learned and best practices to inform future projects and drive continuous improvement. Measure project and change results using data and analytics. Ensure a clean, complete project transition with strong documentation and handoff practices.Organizational Enablement:
Consult with and train teams to enhance organizational competency and capability in project and change management execution. Develop and implement standards, tools, and methods that elevate execution effectiveness. Mentor emerging project and change professionals, enabling stronger performance and career growth. Qualifications Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; MS or MBA preferred. 10+ years of experience leading complex, multi‑year transformation programs using hybrid delivery approaches. Proven ability to operate independently, drive clarity in ambiguous environments, and take ownership of outcomes. Demonstrated expertise in architecting comprehensive business solutions, integrating people, process, and technology, to drive effective organizational transformation. Strong track record of confidently engaging and influencing executives and senior leaders.Skills Leadership:
Lead from the front—setting direction, driving alignment, and enabling a high‑performing team through clear expectations, coaching, and accountability.Planning & Organizing:
Create structure from complexity, drive alignment across multiple stakeholders, and adjust plans decisively based on progress and risk.Critical Thinking:
Cut through ambiguity, anticipate implications, and translate insights into actionable, practical steps.Partnership Building:
Build credibility quickly, developing strong, trust‑based relationships; influence and challenge constructively to accelerate decisions and outcomes.Presentation & Communication:
Communicate with clarity and confidence in both verbal and written formats. Deliver complex messages effectively at all levels—from executives to frontline teams—while creating high‑quality, executive‑ready presentation materials and compelling storylines that support informed decision‑making.Problem Solving:
Identify issues quickly and implement pragmatic, results‑focused solutions —not just options—balancing stakeholder needs with the urgency of execution.Change Management:
Understand the business context rapidly and drive meaningful adoption through leadership engagement and targeted interventions.Technical Ability:
Proficient with Workfront (or similar Project Planning Software), Excel, PowerPoint, and adaptable to new tools and systems. Education Bachelor's degree required; MS or MBA a strong plus. PMP or equivalent program management credential preferred. Change management certification (e.g., ADKAR) is a plus. The hiring range for this position is $137,600- $197,800. The final salary offer will vary based on geographic location, individual education, skills, and experience.
