Insight Global Business Systems Analyst Glendale, AZ Apply Job Description Position Summary The Digital Systems Integration - Business Systems Analyst serves as the primary business process, systems analysis, and requirements management resource supporting the Digital Systems Integration (DSI) organization. This role is responsible for helping translate operational business requirements into scalable system solutions across digital ecosystem, including ERP, MES, PLM, CMMS, LMS, reporting platforms, and related business applications. Working closely with operational stakeholders, system owners, implementation partners, and DSI leadership, the Business Systems Analyst acts as the bridge between business operations and technology teams, ensuring operational needs are accurately captured, documented, prioritized, and translated into effective workflows and system requirements. The Business Systems Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the stand-up, integration, and optimization of the systems that will enable Manufacturing, Training, Warehouse, Facilities, and Maintenance operations throughout the lifecycle of the Model T program. Key Responsibilities Business Requirements Management Facilitate discovery and requirements gathering activities across operational workstreams.
Partner with stakeholders to document:
Business requirements Functional requirements System requirements Workflow requirements Reporting requirements Data requirements Process dependencies Ensure requirements are clearly documented, validated, and approved prior to implementation activities. Shape Business Process Analysis Analyze current-state and future-state operational workflows.
Support activities including:
Process mapping Workflow documentation Gap analysis Process optimization Requirements traceability Business impact assessments Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through process standardization and systems enablement. Shape Systems Integration Support Support implementation and integration efforts across:
ERP MES PLM CMMS LMS
Reporting & Analytics Platforms Collaboration Platforms Assist with documenting business requirements, process flows, data dependencies, and integration points between systems. Help establish a connected digital operating environment that minimizes manual processes and redundant data entry. Shape Stakeholder Engagement Partner directly with business stakeholders across: Manufacturing Operations Assembly Operations Fabrication Operations Training Organization Warehouse Operations Facilities Operations Maintenance Operations Quality Program Management Facilitate workshops and working sessions to understand operational objectives and system requirements. Act as a trusted advisor helping operational teams navigate system adoption and process improvement initiatives. Shape User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support planning and execution of testing activities.
Coordinate:
Test script development User acceptance testing Defect tracking Issue resolution support Validation exercises Go-live readiness reviews Ensure systems are properly validated prior to implementation and operational deployment. Shape Reporting & Analytics Support Partner with Reporting Analysts and DSI leadership to define business reporting requirements.
Support development of:
Operational dashboards KPI scorecards Management reporting Executive reporting Business intelligence solutions Ensure reporting requirements accurately reflect business needs and operational objectives. Shape Data Governance & Data Quality Support establishment of data governance standards across business applications.
Assist with:
Data mapping Data validation Master data reviews Business rule documentation Data quality analysis Data ownership alignment Help ensure critical operational data remains accurate, consistent, and reliable. Shape MES-Centric Operational Readiness Support Given Assembly is expected to be the first operational activation area, support MES-related readiness efforts by assisting with: Production workflow documentation Work instruction mapping Operator workflow analysis Manufacturing reporting requirements Quality data collection requirements Traceability requirements Support validation of manufacturing workflows before production launch. ERP, PLM, CMMS & LMS
Support Partner with system leads to support business process alignment and requirements gathering activities for: ERP Inventory management Procurement workflows Material planning Supply chain reporting PLM BOM management Change management Engineering documentation Configuration control CMMS Asset management Work order management Preventive maintenance workflows LMS Workforce readiness Certification tracking Learning administration Qualification management Ensure requirements remain aligned across systems and operational teams. Shape Governance & Project Support Support execution of DSI governance activities.
Coordinate:
Action item tracking Decision logs RAID management Requirements repositories Status reporting Stakeholder communications Provide visibility into progress, dependencies, risks, and implementation readiness. Shape Documentation Management Develop and maintain: Business requirements documents Process maps User stories Workflow diagrams System requirements documentation Functional specifications Test scripts Meeting documentation Ensure documentation remains organized, version-controlled, and readily accessible. Shape Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve: Business processes System adoption Reporting capabilities Data quality Workflow efficiency User experience Support implementation of improvements and monitor resulting business outcomes. Shape Required Qualifications 3-7+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, business process improvement, digital transformation, or enterprise applications support Experience supporting enterprise business systems within manufacturing, industrial, logistics, semiconductor, or data center environments Strong understanding of: Requirements gathering Process mapping Business process analysis Systems implementation Data governance Reporting and analytics Experience supporting enterprise software deployments or business transformation initiatives Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Shape Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting one or more of the following systems: ERP Platforms Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) Learning Management Systems (LMS) Experience supporting: Data Center Manufacturing Semiconductor Operations Advanced Manufacturing Warehouse & Logistics Operations Greenfield Facility Launches Enterprise Digital Transformation Programs Experience with: Power BI Visio SharePoint SQL Power Platform Jira Confluence Azure DevOps CBAP, PMI-PBA, CAPM, PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or related certifications are highly desirable.
