Job Description Insight Global's client is seeking an experienced external consultant to lead the mapping, analysis, and redesign of core business processes. The consultant will document current-state process flows, identify improvement opportunities, and apply LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste and reduce variation. A central part of the role is leveraging modern AI tools and knowledge to accelerate analysis, surface insights, and recommending automation opportunities across the process landscape. Key Responsibilities

• Map current-state (as-is) business processes and produce clear, standardized process flow diagrams.
• Analyze process performance to identify bottlenecks, waste, rework, and improvement opportunities.
• Apply LEAN principles (e.g., value-stream mapping, waste elimination, flow and pull) to streamline operations.
• Apply Six Sigma methods ( DMAIC , root-cause analysis, statistical process control) to reduce variation and defects.
• Design future-state (to-be) process flows with measurable efficiency, quality, and cost benefits.
• Leverage AI knowledge and tools to accelerate analysis, surface insights, and identify automation opportunities.
• Recommend where AI, automation, and digital tools can augment or replace manual process steps.
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders and process owners to validate flows and prioritize improvements.
• Provide knowledge transfer and coaching so internal teams can sustain improvements after the engagement. Key Deliverables
• Current-state and future-state process flow diagrams.
• Improvement opportunity registers with prioritized recommendations.
• Defensible LEAN /Six Sigma analysis findings and supporting data.
• AI, Agentic and Automation opportunity assessments and recommendations.
• Implementation roadmap and knowledge-transfer materials.

• 10+ years of Process Engineering experience
• Proven experience in business process mapping and process flow documentation (e.g., BPM , swimlane, value-stream maps using Lucid tools and APQC structures).
• Visio would work well
• LEAN certification and/or demonstrated hands-on LEAN implementation experience
• use built in statistical within LEAN .
• Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred) with a track record of measurable results.
• Working knowledge of AI tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot, …) and their practical application to process analysis, streamlining and automation.
• Strong analytical, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Statistical background, able to manipulate data, story the data and process it out.
• Ability to translate complex processes into clear diagrams and actionable recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• CVS experience
• Ability to communicate well, 2 minute elevator pitch.
