Apple News and News+ bring world-class journalism, magazines, puzzles, food content, audio, and more to millions of readers every day. We're looking for a strategic, business-minded operator to own the feature perspective across Apple News and News+ — connecting product investment to subscriber growth and revenue outcomes. Description In this role, you'll serve as the business lead across a portfolio of user-facing features, working closely with Product, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, and partner teams. You'll bring clarity to complex trade-offs, develop well-framed opportunities for prioritization, and ensure every team working on News+ understands how their work contributes to the business. Responsibilities Represent business goals and subscriber targets in cross-functional feature discussions with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Operations Identify and develop new feature opportunities, bringing forward well-framed proposals for Product and Engineering prioritization Partner with Finance and Analytics to maintain growth plans, revenue impact assessments, and cost tracking at the feature level Own feature-level inputs into annual and quarterly business planning cycles Draft business-facing materials including performance readouts, growth forecasts, and strategic recommendations for leadership Coordinate go-to-market efforts with Marketing for new feature launches Minimum Qualifications 8-10 years of experience in growth strategy, business operations, or adjacent roles at a consumer technology or media company Strong familiarity with subscription business models, including growth levers, engagement metrics, and content-driven retention Experience developing business cases, financial models, and performance narratives for executive audiences Proven track record of translating qualitative and quantitative signals into clear, actionable recommendations Preferred Qualifications Strong product sense with the ability to identify and gain support for new feature opportunities Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority across Product, Engineering, Finance, and partner teams Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; highly organized, action-oriented, and comfortable navigating ambiguity Experience in subscription media, publishing, or consumer services preferred Comfort working across time zones and collaborating with geographically distributed teams Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and adapt quickly to shifting priorities MBA preferred Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $149,700 and $280,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments as well as relocation.
