Job Description:
- The Business Banking Credit Portfolio Officer role is responsible for supporting credit underwriting and monitoring for new and existing clients.
Responsibilities:
- + Analysis of client financial information, identification/mitigation of potential risks, compliance with regulatory requirements and evaluation of collateral in determination of credit worthiness + Complete monitoring activities via analysis of clients' financial performance and collateral evaluation to ensure appropriate requirements are met + Listen in to client meetings to develop a deeper understanding of the client's business, management team, and past and future performance + Review completed client requests to ensure compliance with policy and procedures + Understand how credit data is used internally and provided to regulatory partners + Assist with periodic portfolio reviews + Supports the credit monitoring process for existing clients.

Required Qualifications:
- + 2+ years of solid Commercial Banking experience + Experience in financial analysis, structuring, underwriting and portfolio management + Analytical/technical skills, including financial accounting, modeling and loan structuring + Strong communication skills; ability to communicate vertically, horizontally, and externally + Industry knowledge across multiple sectors

- High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
