Business Consultant Assistant Asociacion de Emprendedor@s is a nonprofit organization with the mission of motivating, educating, empowering, and developing the leadership skills and business acumen of our monolingual Hispanic community in the United States, through our Emprendedor@s Program and our 1:1 business consulting service. Job Description The Business Consulting Assistant supports the Business Consulting Manager in providing administrative, operational, and programming support for entrepreneurs and small business services. This part-time role assists client coordination, outreach activities, data entry, and follow-up communication to ensure efficient delivery of business consulting programs and services. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, customer-service focused, and passionate about supporting entrepreneurs and community economic development. Key Responsibilities Administrative & Client Support Schedule client consultations and follow-up meetings.
Support client communications.
Request and collect required client documents and application materials.
Conduct follow-up phone calls and communicate with clients regarding appointments, services, and program participation.
Support client intake processes and maintain accurate client records and documentation.
Prepare and organize business resource materials, forms, and informational packets for clients.
Respond to general client inquiries and direct clients to appropriate staff, services, or community resources. Program & Event Support Assist with the coordination Lunch and Learn sessions, webinars, and community events.
Create PowerPoint presentations and assist with preparation of workshop materials.
Provide logistical and administrative support during in-person and virtual training sessions Outreach & Community Engagement Conduct outreach activities and support community engagement efforts.
Post and distribute flyers and promotional materials for programs, workshops, and events.
Represent the organization professionally at community events, workshops, and outreach activities.
Assist with outreach efforts to entrepreneurs, community partners, and small business owners.
Support the collection of client testimonials, success stories, and photos for outreach and marketing purposes. Reporting & Documentation Assist in compiling program data, client outcomes, and monthly or quarterly reports.
Maintain organized digital and physical files related to consulting services and program activities.
Support compliance with grant and reporting requirements by ensuring documentation is complete and accurate. Qualifications Previous administrative, customer service, outreach, or program support experience preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively in a team environment.
Bilingual English/Spanish required. Preferred Skills Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Zoom, and database/CRM systems.
Interest in entrepreneurship, small business development, or community engagement.
Physical Requirements:
