W2 - 3 Month contact (extension likely) Job Description Our client is seeking a Sales Analytics Analyst to serve as a strategic partner to sales leadership, delivering data-driven insights, performance analytics, and reporting that drive business decisions and improve commercial outcomes. This role is responsible for developing scalable reporting solutions, analyzing sales performance, identifying trends and opportunities, and transforming complex data into actionable recommendations for leadership. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales analytics, business intelligence, reporting, and stakeholder engagement, along with strong technical expertise in SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and Salesforce. Key Responsibilities Analyze sales performance trends across teams, territories, products, and customer segments. Identify opportunities to improve sales effectiveness, productivity, and revenue performance. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights into leading and lagging business metrics. Conduct ad hoc and deep-dive analyses to support strategic priorities and leadership decision-making. Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and reporting solutions using Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce, Excel, and other BI tools. Deliver timely, accurate, and visually compelling reporting for sales leadership and executive stakeholders. Translate complex data into clear business narratives and actionable recommendations. Ensure consistency, accuracy, and integrity of reporting and KPI definitions. Partner with sales leaders and stakeholders to identify data-driven solutions to business challenges. Support strategic initiatives through analytical modeling, performance measurement, and outcome analysis. Drive reporting automation and process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in Sales Analytics, Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, Consulting, or a related analytical role. Advanced SQL skills. Advanced Excel proficiency. Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce, or similar reporting platforms. Experience analyzing sales performance, KPIs, and business metrics. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience creating executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations. Ability to communicate insights effectively to business stakeholders and leadership teams. Preferred Qualifications B2B sales analytics experience. Experience with reporting automation and process optimization. Data modeling experience. Python programming experience. Revenue operations or commercial analytics experience.
