Position Offered By a No Fee Agency Spherion Gainesville FL has a client seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst with a balanced mix of technical expertise, communication skills and process-improvement experience! The ideal candidate will be highly analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to understand complex systems, document workflows clearly, and bring gaps between technical teams and the business stakeholders.
Position:
Full Time, Temporary
  • Approximately 6 months with potential for possible hire or extension
Location:
Gainesville, Florida Schedule:
Monday
  • Friday, 8:00
  • 5:00 pm
Salary:
$70,000.00
  • $75,000.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and document technical business processes and system workflows.
  • Work with teams to gather and define business and technical requirements.
  • Create process maps, flowcharts, and system documentation.
  • Support CRM, reporting systems, databases, and data warehouse processes.
  • Write user guides, training materials and technical documentation.
  • Help improve processes and recommend system solutions.
  • Coordinate with project managers, developers, and business users.
  • Track defects, testing and change management activities.
  • Maintain reporting standards, data dictionaries and version control documentation.
  • Communicate process updates, business rules, and system changes across departments.

PM Skills:
  • Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining view of the big picture
  • Working knowledge of donor database record management and tracking system in a fund raising or development environment
  • Proven experience with SQL (structured query language), business intelligence tools, Visio, SharePoint, hypertext content management (wiki), and Adobe Suite are highly preferred
  • Ability to adapt to future technologies
  • Exposure to process mapping and analysis and experience in requirements definition, selection and/or hands-on implementation of enterprise software solution, or experience with software solutions in an educational setting are highly desired
Education:
Associate Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
  • Associates degree; or a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of relevant experience
  • Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience
  • Proven experience documenting business processes, business rules and system diagrams
  • Two years experience in development operations as a systems analyst
  • Three years experience in business process mapping and documentation
  • Experience in change management in large complex organizations, preferably in higher education
  • Proven experience in eliciting business and technical requirements, and acceptance criteria for large technology implementations, programs and projects with multiple technology partners/teams and varying methodologies
  • Demonstrated proficiency in workflow visualization, MS Excel graphs and charts, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and internet browsers Spherion has helped thousands of people just like you find work happiness!
