9 am - 5:00 pm Duties Design, build, and maintain container tracking databases to monitor end-to-end shipment lifecycle including container availability, Last Free Day (LFD), discharge status, port holds, and pickup number matching for e-commerce fulfillment clients. Integrate Terminal49 (T49) API with Google Sheets to automate real-time container status data pulls eliminating manual tracking Design relational database structures to store and query container records across multiple shipment lanes Write SQL-based queries to extract, filter, and join container data from multiple sources Match container and pickup numbers from raw input against Excel datasets to confirm delivery readiness Monitor LFD, discharge status, and port holds daily and escalate exceptions to operations team Maintain data integrity across container records and produce structured exception reports for management review Develop and deploy automated data processing systems and business reporting tools using Python scripting and Google Apps Script, reducing manual operational overhead across logistics workflows. 15% of time

Job Duties:

Consolidate shipment data across 14+ Excel tabs and multiple data sources Build Google Apps Script automations for multi-tab daily delivery dashboards bucketed by Today/Tomorrow/Upcoming Automate email notification systems to alert operations and management stakeholders on delivery status changes Develop PO receiving completeness mismatch reports with color-coded Excel exception outputs Maintain, debug, and iterate on automation scripts to ensure data accuracy and workflow reliability Document all automation logic and maintain version control of scripts for operational continuity Build and maintain business intelligence dashboards and operational reporting systems that provide real-time visibility into logistics performance metrics for leadership and client accounts. 15% of time

Design and publish interactive dashboards in Microsoft Power BI to visualize container status, delivery KPIs, and carrier performance metrics Build multi-tab Google Sheets delivery reports with automated email distribution to operations and management Develop client-facing logistics performance reports translating raw shipment data into actionable operational insights Create visualizations of carrier lane performance, on-time delivery rates, and exception volumes for leadership review Maintain dashboard data refresh pipelines ensuring reports reflect current operational status Prepare weekly and monthly operational summaries benchmarking actual performance against targets Conduct quantitative carrier rate analysis and freight cost benchmarking across multiple fulfillment center lanes to develop data-driven rate negotiation strategies and optimize cost per shipment. 15% of time

Job Duties:

Fulfillment center lanes to identify cost reduction opportunities Evaluate hub-and-spoke network efficiency and accessorial charge structures across active carrier contracts Build statistical rate comparison models using Excel, Python, and Cabo TMS to benchmark current rates against market standards Prepare tiered rate negotiation documents with margin analysis and lane-by-lane cost breakdown for leadership Perform carrier performance analysis including on-time rates, accessorial frequency, and cost-per-mile metrics Recommend contract adjustments and carrier selection strategies based on quantitative performance data Manage billing operations and perform shipment-level financial analysis including commission-based reconciliation, profit and loss review, and identification of margin outliers across carrier and client accounts. 10% of time

Perform shipment-level profit and loss analysis to assess account-level and lane-level profitability Identify and flag near-zero margin outliers tied to specific carriers or clients for management review Generate monthly financial performance reports segmented by carrier, client, and fulfillment lane Verify invoice accuracy and resolve billing discrepancies between carrier invoices and internal shipment records Maintain structured financial records supporting accurate revenue and cost reporting Apply data mining and AI-augmented analytical techniques to identify patterns and anomalies in logistics data, enabling predictive Decision-making and automated exception detection across container and shipment workflows. 10% of time

Apply data mining techniques to identify patterns in container status, delivery timing, and carrier performance data Build anomaly detection workflows to automatically flag irregularities in shipment, billing, and delivery data Leverage AI tools to augment carrier rate analysis, predictive container availability forecasting, and capacity planning Integrate AI-generated insights into operational dashboards for real-time decision support Evaluate and implement emerging analytical tools to improve logistics data processing efficiency Document findings from predictive models and translate outputs into actionable operational recommendations Coordinate 3PL logistics operations and manage vendor and carrier relationships for last-mile and intermodal delivery, serving as the analytical liaison between the employer and the primary e-commerce fulfillment client. 10% of time

Job Duties:

Manage day-to-day communication with carriers and vendors across all active fulfillment center delivery lanes Track and analyze delivery performance metrics including on-time rates, exception volumes, and SLA compliance Coordinate last-mile delivery scheduling between 3PL providers and fulfillment centers for major e- commerce client Analyze vendor compliance data and document performance deviations against contractual SLA requirements Prepare carrier and vendor performance scorecards for leadership review and contract renegotiation discussions Support evaluation of new carrier partnerships using analytical frameworks from business analytics coursework Prepare and present comprehensive logistics performance reports and strategic operational analyses to company leadership and clients, translating complex supply chain data into clear, actionable business insights. 10% of time
