Job Description

Summary of Position:
Performs professional software quality assurance (QA) analysis activities for Security First Managers (Company). Work involves contributing to and analyzing business requirements. Develops and executes test plans and cases for medium to large assignments, ensuring business needs are met with new implementations, changes, or enhancements. Certifies application quality before a release and collaborates with various departments and system partners to validate application deployment to production environment. Essential Job Functions, including but not limited to: Lead and execute quality assurance efforts for complex systems supporting policy and claims, including both manual and automated testing. Develop test strategies, plans, and scenarios based on business and system requirements, ensuring full validation of enhancements, defects, and releases. Collaborate closely with business analysts, leadership, and technical teams to interpret requirements, provide input on BRDs, and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle. Validate system changes such as forms, templates, and product updates across multiple lines of business. Identify, document, and drive resolution of defects by partnering with internal teams and external system vendors. Coordinate QA activities across projects and releases, including participation in project kickoffs, status updates, and ongoing delivery milestones. Serve as a QA lead on larger initiatives, guiding testing approach, managing risk, and communicating progress to project stakeholders. Support peer reviews and ensure quality and accuracy of test documentation and requirements for complex initiatives. Mentor and support other QA team members while contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Apply strong business knowledge and system expertise to proactively identify risks and ensure effective testing coverage.
  • Responsibilities:

Improve testing effectiveness and efficiency within the quality assurance team. Actively participate in certifying application quality before release and collaborate with various departments and system partners to validate application deployment to the production environment.
  • Qualifications:
  • For Level I:
  • High school diploma or equivalent. One (1) year of relevant experience. OR an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.
  • For Level II:
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Three (3) years of relevant experience. OR an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.
  • For Level III:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Five (5) years of directly related experience. OR an equivalent combination of education, certification, training
