29330 Position Summary The Revenue Integrity Data Analyst supports the financial health and operational performance of the organization by providing advanced data analysis, reporting, and workflow optimization. This role develops and maintains analytical tools, dashboards, and performance metrics that drive charging compliance, cash realization, reduced charging denials, and improve revenue capture accuracy. Serving as a key liaison between IT, operational leaders, and revenue cycle teams, the analyst ensures optimal use of systems, identifies performance improvement opportunities, and supports the implementation of best-practice workflows. This position conducts complex operational analyses, supports leadership with actionable insights, and contributes to systemwide initiatives that enhance revenue integrity, compliance, and overall organizational charging performance. Responsibilities
  • Extracts, analyzes, and interprets operational and financial data to produce accurate, timely reports, dashboards, and performance metrics
  • Tracks KPIs, identifies trends, and provides insights that support decision-making
  • Utilizes process improvement methodologies to evaluate workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend solutions that enhance revenue capture, reduce denials, and improve overall revenue cycle performance
  • Supports Epic revenue cycle workflows, identifies system issues, and partners with IT to optimize build and functionality
  • Monitors, submits, and tracks IS tickets to ensure timely resolution of system defects, enhancements, and workflow requests
  • Maintains analytical tools and supports internal and vendor applications
  • Serves as a liaison between IT, Finance, leadership, and operational teams to translate business needs into system requirements, support workflow development, and ensure optimal use of software and processes
  • Reviews billing workflows, claim edits, and denial trends to identify root causes and partners with operational leaders to implement corrective actions that improve accuracy, compliance, and revenue integrity
  • Provides ongoing training, documentation, and support for revenue integrity workflows
  • Assists with system updates, policy reviews, and organizational initiatives
  • Serves as a resource for leaders and frontline staff
  • Ensures all reporting, workflows, and revenue integrity processes comply with state and federal regulations and organizational policies
  • Maintains data accuracy, reliability, and integrity across all analyses and deliverables
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Competent to meet age-specific needs of the unit assigned Requirements and Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelors degree in related field required; Minimum 6 years' directly related experience in a Revenue Integrity role may be accepted in lieu of degree
CHFP, CRCR
certification preferred
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, including advanced Excel proficiency and experience extracting/manipulations data from Epic, data warehouses, and reporting tools
  • Knowledge of revenue integrity operations, including billing workflows, charge capture, denials, CPT/HCPCS coding, payer rules, and regulatory compliance
  • Effective communicator and collaborator with the ability to translate technical concepts, partner with IT and operational leaders, and support workflow development and system optimization
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, ability to manage multiple priorities, ensure data accuracy, and support training, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Demonstrated project management ability, including organizing complex initiatives, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, managing timelines, and driving tasks to completion in a structured and accountable manner
  • Highly self-motivated and proactive, ability to work independently, anticipate needs, take initiative on problem-solving, and maintain productivity with minimal supervision Working Conditions
