Business System Analyst#26-13451 North Chicago, IL All On-site Job Description

Collaborate with scientists and manufacturing subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather, analyze, and validate business & technical requirements for process performance analytics platforms and capabilities.
Leverage expertise in operations, biologics, CMC, and manufacturing systems to identify needs, gaps, and opportunities for process enhancement.
Craft detailed documentation to support Software Life Cycle (SLC) processes, including requirements, specifications, validation, and change control.
Design and optimize business processes by translating business needs into technical solutions; contribute to system implementation and integration.
Facilitate solution testing efforts (functional, UAT) to ensure delivered systems meet business requirements and quality standards.
Support value data capture, metric definition, and quantitative analyses to enable data-driven decision making and process improvements.

Bachelor's degree in engineering, life-sciences, or related field (advanced degree or relevant certifications a plus) with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
Proven experience in requirement gathering, process engineering, and business systems analysis within manufacturing, operations, or biologics/CMC environments.
Working knowledge of manufacturing systems, operations, and the SLC framework.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders while supporting the maintenance of business relationships.
Proficiency in documenting requirements, process flows, and validation artifacts.
Experience with solution testing and data analytics (PowerBI, Excel, Dataiku, Python, SQL)

Advanced Degree in related field
Experience providing/supporting development of teaching or training materials
Experience being the voice of the customer
Experience in data science, data engineering, machine learning, or analytics engineering
