Job Description
Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Solutions Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in workforce-related services for employers and jobseekers. Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with employers and provide timely employer support to ensure service provided meets or exceeds employer expectations Prepare and maintain an employer prospecting list to target employers in Kentucky's Target Industry Sectors (Healthcare, Business Services, Construction, Energy, and Transportation) or those employers identified by job seekers as desired employers Consult with Career Advisors to create an inventory of "job ready" clients to include information relevant to job placement (job preferences, certifications, work history, and skills) Consult with EKCEP Business Services Coordinator when funded services such as On-the-Job Training, Customized Training, Incumbent Worker Training, Apprenticeship or other individualized services are identified as potential solutions to employer needs Develop solutions for business customers through collaboration with the Business Employer Solutions Team. Maintain documentation of all employer contact in appropriate databases to keep all involved partners updated Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field is desired; combinations of education and experience may substitute Three years of experience in providing services to employers Knowledge of resources available to business clients beyond those offered by the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language and display exceptional customer service Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines Valid driver's license required and frequent travel throughout service area.
