Job Description

Join Our Team as a Level 2 Business Process Engineer at Farfield Systems! At Farfield Systems, we have proudly supported the government contracting community for over 23 years, always prioritizing meaningful work that drives our customers' essential missions forward. Our success stems from a simple philosophy: when we put our team members first, they in turn create exceptional experiences for our customers. This symbiotic relationship embodies our culture of being "employee driven…customer focused." We are seeking a dedicated Level 2 Business Process Engineer to join our collaborative team. In this role, you will partner with government stakeholders to evaluate current operations and business processes, ensuring alignment with organizational missions, strategic goals, and customer needs. Your work will start at a strategic level and extend throughout the stakeholder organization, facilitating impactful Business Process Reengineering (BPR) efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with government teams to make informed recommendations for standard operating procedures (SOP) across various organizations within the government enterprise. Apply process improvement methodologies and engineering principles to modernize and enhance project outcomes. Document configuration requirements, business rules, and both functional and system requirements. Utilize industry best practices to effectively plan, organize, and guide complex programs using Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) tools. Support the transition of existing project teams and facilitate their efforts to achieve project objectives. Conduct activity and data modeling, develop modern business methods, identify best practices, and create performance measurement assessments. Coordinate with multiple project teams to ensure that enterprise-wide reengineering efforts are seamlessly integrated. Assist in defining and documenting a capability delivery roadmap, outlining the functionality sequence from Initial Operating Capability (IOC) to Final Operating Capability (FOC). Engage with the integrated product team (IPT) and other stakeholders to establish trade-off criteria, perform process gap analyses, and document viable solutions that maximize the capabilities of existing COTS tools. Aid in defining and documenting configuration requirements, business rules, and both functional and system requirements.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related business discipline from an accredited institution. A minimum of 7 years of experience conducting BPR activities, with at least 5 years of experience utilizing process improvement methodologies (such as Agile technologies and Six Sigma) in government integration programs. If you're ready to contribute to meaningful projects that matter while being part of a team that values your growth and success, we invite you to apply and become part of our mission-driven culture at Farfield Systems!
