We are currently seeking a Program Analyst, Journeyman to support PMA-276 at the Patuxent River, MD Program Office. The candidate will be a member of the Air Vehicle IPT and shall provide program management support.
Functional Description:
Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules. Performs management, technical, or business case analyses. Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs. Tracks program/project status and schedules. Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Participates as a member of and/or supports the Air Vehicle Integrated Product Teams (IPT).
  • Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives.
  • Collect, interpret, track, and organize information and documentation relating to product requirements.
  • Track and manage overall time sensitive IPT requirements, and ensuring inputs are collected and submitted ahead of deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Coordinate with staff personnel to meet and exceed operational requirements and tasking.
  • A self-starter who can assist with entry, maintenance, and tracking of budget, financial, and acquisition reports from the NAVAIR Common Spend Plan Tool (CSPT) and Procurement Management Tool (PMT), including Visualizations.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Programs to include Outlook, Teams, Word, EXCEL, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to coordinate, facilitate and schedule program level meetings while developing agendas and providing required read-ahead information.
  • Proactive, organized, and good teamwork skills.
  • Someone who can help organize and track actions and help identify urgent matters that need attention.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Required Experience:
Journeyman
  • Three (3) to Ten (10) years of combined experience performing duties described in the functional description.
Desired Experience:
Journeyman
  • At least Two (2) years of experience supporting NAVAIR programs.
Required Education:
Journeyman
  • BA/BS degree.

The following substitutions are permitted for this task order (unless otherwise specified under the labor category information below):
  • Associate's Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree. OR
  • Four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $74,433.26 to $117,649.90 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems' total compensation package.
