Federal Financial Management Senior Consultant

- : Guidehouse is currently seeking financial management professionals to support our Federal Civilian Agencies (FCA) Energy & Environment clients.
Responsibilities:
- Support financial statement audit cycle, strategy and execution, oversight and reporting, and development of audit infrastructure.
- knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS), Internal Control Over Financial Reporting (ICOFR), Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-123 and Government Accountability Office (GAO) Green Book principles.
- Support audit remediation, including Agency-wide remediation support and development of Corrective Action Plans (CAPs).
- Lead internal control design and testing.
- Support development of analytic products, reconciliations, automation of controls, data pipelines, dashboards, or automation workflows.
- Facilitate client working sessions and support senior client stakeholders.
- Collaborate across Guidehouse practice areas to bring integrated solutions that combine strategy, technology, and operations.
- Support new business by contributing to account growth strategies, preparing proposal responses to the Government, and developing client relationships. What You Will Need
- :•Five(5) years of relevant professional experience in consulting, finance, accounting, operations, or analytical roles, preferably supporting public sector or highly regulated environments.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in client service and team-based environments, especially when tackling unstructured problems.
- Strong attention to detail, well organized, and able to self-prioritize multiple activities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- This hybrid position role requires up to 4-5 days on-site at the Client's office in Washington, DC.
- This hybrid position is open to candidates who will reside within 50 miles of Washington, DC.
- Based on our contractual obligations, candidate must be located within the United States and be a US Citizen.
- Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance. What Would Be Nice to Have
- :•Advanced degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Information Systems, or Business Management/Administration.
- One or more professional certifications strongly preferred, such as CPA, CIA, PMP, CGFM, and/or CDFM.
- Experience supporting financial systems and providing financial management support, including audit/audit readiness, audit remediation, internal controls, and process improvement.
- Demonstrated knowledge of IT auditing standards and guidance.
- Willingness to learn, use, and apply emerging technologies to solve business challenges.
- Candidates with an

are preferred. The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00- 163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
